All California tract records are present with released scores, provisional estimates, or unscorable labels. The Explorer keeps continuous county coverage at broad scales and reveals tiled tract geometry automatically as users zoom.

The Explorer and reports use geography that exists in the frozen repository. No unsupported layer is presented as available.
County
All 58 California counties are available as the default statewide map and area-report scope.
City and place
The frozen release carries 783 place records: 433 incorporated cities and 350 census-designated places. Those resolve to 780 distinct place names, because Burbank, El Cerrito and El Sobrante each occur in two counties. The homepage, Explorer and Reports count place records, not distinct names. Tracts are assigned to places using the publicly released land-area overlap rule.
Census tract
All 9,129 California 2020 census tract records are indexed. 8,249 fall inside a city or census-designated place and 880 are in unincorporated area outside any place boundary. Tract geometry loads automatically as the map zooms, without a county-opening step.
ZIP/ZCTA and parcel boundaries are not part of the current frozen release, so the product does not expose ZIP/ZCTA or parcel scores or reports.
